PLANTING FOR THE FUTURE

King’s Kourt Inc, is pleased to announce its youth agricultural training initiative Youth Agriculture & STEM Academy!

With a mission of “Planting for the Future,” the Youth Agriculture & STEM (YAA) Academy is an engaging, summer experience designed for students ages 7–12. This exciting program offers a dynamic blend of hands-on agriculture and real-world STEM learning to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, leaders, and stewards of the land.

Unlike a traditional summer camp, the YAA is an immersive learning experience that takes students beyond the classroom and into the field—literally. Mornings are spent outdoors working with plants, soil, and animals, while afternoons focus on science, technology, and engineering principles that power modern farming.

DAILY PROGRAM OVERVIEW

What Students Will Do & Learn

Here is an overview of the activities scheduled for the Summer 2025 Sessions of the King’s Kourt, Inc. Youth Agriculture & STEM Summer Program

Morning Sessions

Agriculture in Action

Morning activities take place outdoors, giving students meaningful, hands-on experiences in farming and nature. These lessons introduce key agricultural skills while encouraging responsibility, curiosity, and respect for the environment.

Morning activities may include:

  • Growing and caring for crops

  • Exploring soil composition and soil health

  • Caring for animals and learning basic animal science

  • Learning about ecosystems, sustainability, and land stewardship

Afternoon Sessions

STEM in the Classroom

In the afternoons, students shift to a classroom setting where they connect their hands-on morning experiences to core STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) concepts through interactive lessons and group activities.

Afternoon topics may include:

  • Exploring how science and technology are transforming agriculture

  • Understanding the role of engineering in building efficient farm systems

  • Applying math skills to real-world agricultural scenarios

  • Learning about innovations like drones, GPS tracking, and data tools used in modern farming

  • Engaging in problem-solving challenges that blend creativity, logic, and teamwork

Faith & Character Development

In addition to agricultural based activities, each day will begin with devotional and prayer time to help students start their day of learning with reflection, gratitude, and purpose.  Our goal is to reinforce character development rooted in Christian values like stewardship, kindness, and community.

Growing minds, planting futures—one seed at a time!
